This honey was found to be the most powerful for its antioxidant action, as compared to 48 other types of honey.
A research conducted by Chrisoula Tananaki, a Lead Assistant Professor from The University of Aristoteles in Thessaloniki found. The Oak Tree Honey is filled with antioxidant qualities and is characterised as a high-nutritional honey. It has spicy smell, strong taste, thick texture and warm chestnut chocolate wise color.
This particular unique and rare variety of honey was collected in the Nafpaktia Mountains.
